- Common Name: Broad Leaf Anubias, Broadleaf Anubias, sometimes just Anubias barteri.1
- Distinguishing Feature: Its large, broad, oval, or slightly heart-shaped leaves are the biggest among the barteri varieties (much larger than nana or petite).2 The leaves are thick, leathery, and dark green.3
- Size & Growth: A medium-to-large Anubias, typically growing to a height of 8–18 inches (20–45 cm) in height and spread.4 It is a slow grower.5
- Hardiness: Extremely hardy, tolerant of wide-ranging conditions, and considered one of the easiest plants to grow (beginner-friendly).6 Its leaves are very tough and resistant to herbivorous fish.7
