ADA Filter Media BIO-RIO (2L) is the basic of biological filtration that starts quickly after the initial setup, due to the live bacteria adhered to the Bio Rio. It is mainly made of pumice stone with a porous surface, which is an ideal environment for beneficial bacteria to colonize.
